I give him his trays, and sit down at Gryffindor table. Pes sits on the other side of me.

I give Jake a look that says watch what you say, or we are dead. "Hey, brother!"

I admired how Mason's friend called me sir. "Found yourself a friend?"

"A best friend. His name is Jake."

I look gratefully at Jake and bow.

Suddenly, Professor McGonagall comes.

I gulp. She walks over to me.

"For your excellent skills, I have gotten you a present. Enjoy." She hands him a card and walks away.

"Great. A worthless card."

"Not worthless. Read it first."

I straighten my glasses and read it. "Awesome! A gift card to get a free pet at Diagon Alley!" then, I frown. "But it expires tonight." I sigh and start crying. I really wanted a pet.

"I think I can arrange something. My father is a great friend of most of the shop owners in Diagon Alley. It'd be a snap." Jake smiled.

"Or we could..." I start, but realize Pes is right there. "I need to use the restroom," I lied, "Jake does too." I drag him to the bathroom. "I was pretty good at Transfiguration. Maybe we could sneak out of Hogwarts tonight, and go to Diagon Alley."

Jake walked down into breakfast, and started getting food.

Lania was reading a book as she munched on some toast.

I got two pieces of jelly toast and orange Gatorade. I sat down next to a girl (it's Lania, but he doesn't know) and save a seat for Jake.

Cali walked into the hall, looking around. She saw the two guys that she had seen earlier and a girl.
