I walked in with my dear friend, Courtney. "I would like for you to teach me about Hogwarts."

"What's there to learn?" I asked, sighing. "Locations of classrooms? Don't ask me to teach you the rules, I hate rules."

"You'll be taught that in your classes. Oh, yeah, and I forgot. Watch out for Peeves and the Bloody Baron; they're ghosts. And another thing, there are trick staircases and doors around Hogwarts."

I take notes on this. I put my notepad away, seeing a big storm out of the window.

I walked over to the window. A big storm? Oh, great, it would probably continue tomorrow. I was planning to get to the forest. I sighed.

I sigh and sit down, listening to thunder. I notice that the room was empty. The ceremony wasn't over. It was over for Courtney and I, I thought. I look at my new Gryffindor robes. "I think class is soon."

I shrugged and checked my schedule for which class was next.

I nod and unpack my bags over by an empty bunk in the First Year section. "I think I have Transfiguration first."

"I guess so." Jake tenderly sat the egg on a dresser. Then quickly picked it back up. Better if he kept it with him.

While everyone was sleeping, I was just sitting in a Common Room chair, waiting for Jake.

Jake snuck in, coming back from Snape's. "I just narrowly escaped."

I take a deep breath, focusing. You can do it. Suddenly, I turned to an owl. A BIG owl. I grab the card with my talons and look at the open window. I get my talons around Jake's shoulders, and we fly off.
