After flying for hours, it was dawn, they finally came to a stop at Diagon Alley. The expiring date was supposed to be 5:00. I look up, seeing a clock that said four. I quickly turn human, grabbing my card. "Wait here," I told Jake and ran to the pet store.

Jake stood up and walked to his bed.....to see the egg with a crack in it.

I saw the egg. "Jake, is that egg going to-----" I freeze, getting Whiskers and hugging her, safely.

"I think so!" The egg began to crack even more, shaking a bit.

It was too late. The egg had hatched, and the result was some type or weird dragon/griffin hybrid. "I think I'm too late."

I looked down at it. "Oh my gosh. Hide it! The Sixth Years are waking up! I hear them!"

Jake jumped and quickly grabbed the creature, diving into his bed and closing the curtains around it.

I came down, all dressed up in my robes and my hair perfect. I see my brother and his friend. "Hello, dear brother and sir Jake."

I held Whiskers as she slept. "Hi, bro," I gulped.

"Hello sir." Jake waved a bit as he hid the creature.

I smile and go down to the Great Hall for breakfast, with the awake Gryffindors.

I sigh with relief, putting Whiskers in my pocket. "That was close. Anyway, wanna go get some breakfast?"

"Yeah. Also I think I have a name for this guy. I'll name him....Xanth." Jake smiled as he held the creature.

"True. I should prolly show him to the Magical Creatures teacher." Jake decided to practice replacing things, and switched his robes with magic.

I run in, packing my stuff. I get Whiskers, putting her in my pocket. I also hide my necklace in my other pocket. I put on my scarf, robes, coat, boots, and hat. I wait for Jake.
