Jake walked in, seeing that everyone was supposed to be in four person groups. He spotted Lania, and sat across from her. "Hey."

"Hai." She waved a bit.

Cali walked into the class and sat down next to Jake, and near Lania.

"Hi." Lani leaned back in her chair, Reginald slithering up to her shoulder.

"Hi." Cali greeted, waiting for their teacher.

"I'm Lania, but you can call me Lani." She hissed in Parseltongue.

"Calista Palixo, but you can call me Cali." Cali told him, smiling. "Aaand, er, what did she say?" Cali asked.

"I have no idea." Jake shook his head.

"I said, 'I'm Lania but you can call me Lani.'" She smiled.

"Nice to meet you." Cali smiled. "Do you have any idea where Mason is? He's going to be late, and they're going to take points away."

"I'm not sure, although I'd guess he's rushing." Lani shrugged.

Jake's yellow eye gleamed slightly in the dim lights of the Potions room.

Cali shrugged and waited for the class to start. She sighed. Well, another boring period. She sat there waiting for Snape to speak.

I got up. Just one more class before lunch. "I think Defense Against the Dark Arts is next."
